Laid Back

I got this  transparent blouse from a runway show I modelled in last December, and I have not been able to wear it anywhere...I mixed it up with some other pieces from my box to achieve a laid back and effortless look...I also went for the nude and fresh faced look...and my lollipop featured in the shoot again...hehe

This Lady...

Sometime last week, I said to myself, "looking back from where I started and everything I've been through, I'm proud of the young woman I am becoming"

Time does fly...the things that meant the world to me before, now seem rather foolish and feeble. Even though, life doesn't go as we plan it, I know what I want, I know where I've been, and I know where I'm going...In light of this, I took some random pictures that well, i felt all grown up in.

I took an old wrapper, tucked it in at strategic places, and made it into a dress: paired with a bangle I stole from my big sister a few years back *grin* and my newly purchased Next earrings....
Oh! and of course, my lollipop...

 U'll notice I have a thing for sticking out my tongue in pictures....

Light Meets Dark..

Today, another boring Saturday for me in school, with nothing to do, I decided to take pictures with my little sister.. The theme of the pictures is Light meets Dark. She represents Light as she's all sunshine and rainbows...LOL! And well, I'm dark...as well, I'm not all sunshine and rainbows..

My dark look is Rihanna inspired..somewhere between gothic and bad ass...

I basically went for the dramatic smoky eyes, black lipstick...paired with a hoody I've had for a while now....and my dearest Marc Jacob shades....*wide grin*

For this last pic, I wore an oversize shirt in a funny way...lol! 

I don't even remember how I did it...

Boyish!!

I don't know why but I am developing a sudden love for boyish dressing...

I was going through some online stores and this outfit and maybe the girl as well appealed to me....

I should do a random shoot in my room one of these days...

Wierd or Trendy?

So lately, I've been seeing alotta wierd stuff that apparently are trendy...

I don't know about you but this has to be the weirdest pair of leggings I've ever seen...I mean they are called  "Is that a c**k on your legs?"....

This collection of leggings is made of print covered with tiny penises....I don't understand the concept bind these leggings but they cost $152 which is roughly 24,000Naira...

I'm as baffled as you are...style is definitely taking a new turn...

I am trying to blend my love for writing, fashion and photography into one. I have a semi-professional camera which I still haven’t fully gotten the hang of. However, I decided to take some random shots of nature, edit them and put them up. These are my first set of official landscape pictures and well a picture of a Vimto bottle after drinking its content of course. *wide grin*….

Its a Date!!!!

So my departmental association week came and went *sniff* but the highlight of the whole week for me was the dinner. it had a strictly traditional dress code..I decided to try the Oleku style that everybody has been rocking lately: and I bullied my friend into doing the same *evil grin*

Jump From Paper

Imagine my surprise when I stumbled on a post a few days ago when the zeal to blog hit me.The bags featured look like cardboard cut-outs or animations but they are actual bags*surprised face* Very funky too I must add...for people that like attention like me *bats eyelashes*, you simply cannot go unnoticed....thou shall stand out!!!can I get an amen??

Yes?No?...okay!moving on...

The bags are made by two Taiwan designers Rika and Chay and the collection is named 'Jump From Paper' and is inspired by cartoons, comics and animations. Check them out and let me know if you wanna jump from paper with me *grin*

 I'm pretty sure the camera doesn't come with this bag....

Thanks to the optical illusions, the bags don't look real but you can actually see the zipper and the lock on them....

When I grow up.....

I am so sorry my posts lately have not been recent. Internet connection in school is not really encouraging. However, in this post, I am telling you about my two favourite fashion blogs. They inspire me a whole lot because these young ladies are fashionistas in their own right: very trendy, classy and sophisticated. they both take classic pictures showing off the killer outfits they wear....*singing like the pussy cat dolls* "when I grow up,I wanna be famous, I wanna be like Karla, I wanna be like Shirley"....hehe...on second thought, "I wanna be rich, I wanna be famous, better than Karla and Shirley put together"...I really hope u can sing that last line....

The first is Karla Deras, an American babe who totally awes me with her fashion sense. She even designs jewellry for Roman Deluxe..here's the link to her blog www.karlascloset.com....the second is Shirley, a 21 year old british student...you could say I am struck by her *nohomo...check out her blog on www.meek-n-mild.com.
