Red Sole War!

I say this in tears....Today, I heard shoe designer Louboutin who has been having a tough time defending his red sole trademark for a while now, just suffered another setback in that battle. While a judge is yet to rule definitively whether or not he should be allowed to have a trademark on red soles, a French court just gave high street retailer Zara the official go ahead to slap red soles on whatever they like. They even ordered Louboutin to pay Zara 2,500 Euros as compensation

Mistress

I titled this post Mistress because  my friend and I did an urban shoot for my designer friend on Sunday and her clothing line's named Mistress. In many ways than one, it reminds me of the movie "Mistress of Spices"

I had fun experimenting with my make-up and taking the pictures....even if my beauty sleep was interrupted *rme

THE HERMES CRAFT

Bag designer, Hermès has launched a paper craft project! All you need to do is go to the Hermès Jigé Clasp page, choose the pattern you want and print! You can also print a plain one if you prefer to add your own design. Who wouldn't want a Hermès you can boast you designed? *wink*

I'm a fan of beautiful and classic bags...wish I had more than I do right now, but contentment is a great pain! L☺L! 

The designs I found so far on the site are classic and I'm totally in love with them..I think you'd love them as well..

And yeah, this goes out to my friends, you all know my birthday is coming up soon..please kindly make room for one of these babies in your budget...*eyelashes*..I will publish a wish list soon..L☺L!

Music is Fashionable

Being fashionable these days goes beyond the clothes you wear, what weave you have on, what back you're carrying or the shoes you're rocking among other things.
Apparently, the way you listen to your music determines how fashionable you are...

Going through some websites, I came across these babies! *I like*.The Urbanears Plattan Denim headphones are a pair of fabulous ear cans with a denim exterior. The headphones are part of their Urbanears Editions range, and is only the second in the series of styles.


They'll be launched exclusively at Selfridges in the UK in June, for £80. I could work with these babies...tell me what you think though!

Laid Back

I got this  transparent blouse from a runway show I modelled in last December, and I have not been able to wear it anywhere...I mixed it up with some other pieces from my box to achieve a laid back and effortless look...I also went for the nude and fresh faced look...and my lollipop featured in the shoot again...hehe

This Lady...

Sometime last week, I said to myself, "looking back from where I started and everything I've been through, I'm proud of the young woman I am becoming"

Time does fly...the things that meant the world to me before, now seem rather foolish and feeble. Even though, life doesn't go as we plan it, I know what I want, I know where I've been, and I know where I'm going...In light of this, I took some random pictures that well, i felt all grown up in.

I took an old wrapper, tucked it in at strategic places, and made it into a dress: paired with a bangle I stole from my big sister a few years back *grin* and my newly purchased Next earrings....
Oh! and of course, my lollipop...

 U'll notice I have a thing for sticking out my tongue in pictures....

Light Meets Dark..

Today, another boring Saturday for me in school, with nothing to do, I decided to take pictures with my little sister.. The theme of the pictures is Light meets Dark. She represents Light as she's all sunshine and rainbows...LOL! And well, I'm dark...as well, I'm not all sunshine and rainbows..

My dark look is Rihanna inspired..somewhere between gothic and bad ass...

I basically went for the dramatic smoky eyes, black lipstick...paired with a hoody I've had for a while now....and my dearest Marc Jacob shades....*wide grin*

 Sunshine and rainbows....lol!

For this last pic, I wore an oversize shirt in a funny way...lol! 

I don't even remember how I did it...
